Camerata Picena – a beautiful medieval center and imposing fortress

In the northeastern part of Italy, in the Marche region, you can find a small village Camerata Picena lying at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level.

Approximately 15 kilometers away is situated the regional capital city of Ancona. In the village there are about 1800 inhabitants, who live mainly from agriculture, cattle breeding and tourism.

The town boasts a beautiful medieval center, dominated by the imposing fortress. If you like the sea, head to the nearby town of Falconara Marittima, which is located only about 10 km from Camerata Picena and allows swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Camerata Picena is a great base from which you can go to explore other interesting places of this part of Italy. There are several points of interests nearby such as the protected area of ​​Parco Naturale del Conero, where you will find unspoiled nature.
